Doris O'Neal is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience dedicated to addressing gender-based violence. Her work focuses on supporting women who have experienced trauma, particularly within the context of the legal system.

O'Neal's career includes managing the Gender-Based Violence Specialized Services at YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish, overseeing programs related to domestic violence and commercial sexual exploitation. She is noted for leading efforts to support survivors facing heightened isolation and stress, including piloting a partnership with the King County Prosecutor's Office to create a survivor-centered program.

O'Neal has also served as a Regional Program Coordinator for NOVA. Her understanding of the legal process is further evidenced by her past roles as a staff assistant for two different congressmen, where she assisted constituents with various federal issues, including IRS, immigration, and veteran affairs. Additionally, she has worked as a Notary Public for JPMorgan Chase & Co.
